Appeal for witnesses

Fatal Road Traffic Collision – A165, Bridington Road, Fraisthorpe

At 8.15pm on Saturday evening (July 1, 2015) a silver Ford Focus driven by a 41-year-old Hessle man and a white Volvo V60, driven by a 47-year-old Bridlington man were in collision on the A165, Bridlington Road, Fraisthorpe.

Both cars collided head on just after a bend near two miles north of Beeford, resulting in the driver of the Ford Focus sadly being pronounced dead at the scene.

Hull: Victim attacked after going to aid of puppy

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched to the head several times in the street between 10.35 and 10.45am today. (Friday, July 31)
The victim’s puppy had escaped in Hull’s Barnsley Street and he gave chase, grabbing the animal by the scruff of the neck to prevent it running into the road.

Plant equipment stolen

Brigg: Did you see suspicious activity?

A mini excavator and ride on roller were stolen from an industrial site in Brigg.

The break-in at the site opposite the primary school in Atherton Way, happened between 8pm on Thursday, July 30 and 7am the following day.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting crime number 2129013.

House Burglary

Bridlington: Appeal to find those responsible

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary at a house on North Street, Bridlington which occurred at 2am on July 25.

The occupant of the house was woken by loud noises but the suspect(s) had fled the scene before he could confront them.

The first, which offers people the chance to invest in bogus film productions, has seen a 19 per cent rise in the number of reports to Action Fraud between January and May this year, with an average loss of £33,000.

Humberside Police were called to a road traffic collision just after 12 noon yesterday July 29 on Hornsea Road near Skipsea.

A Vauxhall Vectra and a Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the collision.

Suspected armed robbery

Crowle: Can you help to trace suspect?

A man believed to be armed with a knife stole a quantity of cash from Tesco Express on Crowle High Street.
The incident happened between 9.20 and 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 29.
The suspect is said to have approached the store, put on a full face balaclava and approached a female member of staff who was working on the till.
