South Cave: Did you see driver who failed to stop?

A cyclist suffered minor injuries following a collision with a van – after which the driver failed to stop.
The incident happened at around 10.45am today (Thursday, December 17) on Beverley Road, around 2 miles outside South Cave.

Scunthorpe: Man arrested in connection with incident

A 15-year-old boy remains in custody today after being arrested on suspicion of robbery, following an incident in Scunthorpe.
A 58-year-old woman was walking along an alleyway from Doncaster Road towards the Imperial Chinese restaurant at around 10.30pm on Wednesday, December 16, when she was approached by a white male who demanded cash.

East Yorkshire: Two men found guilty of 35 sexual offences

Today (Wednesday December 16) at Leeds Crown Court two men have been found guilty of a large number of historic sexual offences against 11 victims. 
They were convicted as part of Operation Reno, an investigation into historic allegations of sexual abuse at St Williams Care Home in Market Weighton, East Yorkshire.

Grimsby: Did you see the car?

A 14-year-old girl required hospital treatment after her foot was driven over by a car as she crossed the road on the corner of Victoria Street West and Town Hall Street in Grimsby.

The incident happened at 7.50pm on Thursday December 10.

There is no detail of the car involved as it did not stop at the scene, driving off into Town Hall Street and out of sight.

Goxhill, North Lincolnshire: Did you see anything suspicious?

Officers are investigating a burglary that happened at an address in Horsegate Field Road in Goxhill, North Lincolnshire, between 6.30pm and 7pm on Sunday December 13.

Two men are said to have entered the house and threatened the occupant with a weapon, before escaping with a quantity of jewellery.

Driffield: Fail to stop collision in George Street. Did you witness it?

At 4.30pm on Thursday November 26 a black Ford Mondeo taxi was parked in the taxi rank, outside Tesco’s supermarket on George Street in Driffield when a maroon old Austin drop-side lorry tried to manoeuvre the lorry in the Tesco car park entrance, and collided with the taxi.

Bridlington: Man caught trying car doors in Tennyson Avenue

A young man has been interviewed by the police for trying car doors in the Tennyson Avenue area of Bridlington and whilst being questioned, has admitted to recently stealing two car stereo fascia’s in the same area.

Burglar tried back doors in Beverley, finding two unlocked doors and taking mobile phones, whilst householders where in other rooms in the house.

Leven: Did you see the collision?

Witnesses are sought to a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a heavy goods vehicle that happened on the A165 Leven Bypass on the afternoon of Friday December 11.

A red 125cc Honda motorcycle was in collision with an eight wheeled white Volvo Tipper as both were travelling south along the bypass approaching the Whitecross roundabout.

Hull: Have you seen Ian Young?

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 48-year-old man who is missing from Hull.

Ian Young was last seen on Monday December 7 at the New Bridges Mental Health Unit in Birkdale Way, Hull.

He suffers from diabetes as well as having mental health issues and his absence is out of character.
