Hull: We’re looking for a suspect

An 82-year-old woman has allegedly been robbed in Hull and we’re looking for information to find the person responsible.

It happened on Russell Street yesterday 5 September around midday. The woman’s bag was stolen from off her mobility walker which she was holding.

It contained keys and a bank card which was later used to withdraw money from a TSB cash machine.

Bridlington: Mark Mattocks is due before court today

A Bridlington man is due to appear before Hull Magistrates Court today, charged with committing a knife-point robbery at a Bridlington Building Society on Tuesday.

Detective Sergeant Dave Porteus said: "Mark Mattocks, 44, of Harrington Road, Bridlington, is charged with robbery, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a Class A drug."

Hull: Woman allegedly knocked off mobility scooter

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident on Albion Street on 5 September.

It happened around 2.30pm as a woman who was on a mobility scooter was outside Hull Central Library. The men ran off after they had allegedly knocked her to the floor and stole money from her.

Hull: We want to find them

We want to find three boys who allegedly threatened a woman who was riding her bicycle near Holderness Road in Hull yesterday evening 4 Sept 2018.

The incident happened around 8pm on Sherburn Street. Three suspects approached the victim, grabbed and kicked her bike, and spat at her. It was reported that one of them was carrying a bladed weapon.

Hull: We’re looking for four suspects

We want to find two motorbike riders and two pillion passengers who allegedly tried to steal another motorbike while it was being ridden along the road by its owner.

The incident happened on Boothferry Road in Hull near the Tesco petrol station around 8pm on 28 August.

Hull: Warrant executed

Officers have seized an amount of class B drugs thought to be amphetamines and an amount of ‘Spice’ during a warrant executed in Hull.

We attended a property on Melville Street earlier today and executed the warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A large amount of cash as well as suspected stolen goods were also found at the property. An arrest has been made.

Hull: Four fraudsters are jailed and a fifth receives suspended sentence.

Today five people were sentenced at Hull Crown Court following a lengthy investigation and trail into serious mortgage frauds.  Hull men Alfred and Darren Goulbourne joined co-defendants Julie Crane, Christopher Jones and Andrew Wormstone to receive their sentences.

Bempton: Family have released his name today

The family of a motorcyclist who sadly died at the weekend have today given permission for his name to be released.

29-year-old Andrew Tolley, who was known as Andy, from Bridlington passed away following a collision on the B1229 between Buckton and Bempton on 2 Sept 2018.

There were no other vehicles involved.

Ross Ainsworth, 31, of no fixed abode has been charged with affray, assault by beating, and criminal damage following an incident on Swinderby Garth in Hull on 2 Sept.

He has appeared at Hull Magistrates Court today.

Scunthorpe: Three people injured

A 42-year-old man has been charged with three counts of section 18 wounding with intent following an incident on Parkinson Avenue in Scunthorpe on 1 Sept 2018. 

Two men and a woman were allegedly injured in the incident.
