Cleethorpes: One arrested in connection with death of Shaun Lyall

​Yesterday evening we arrested a 33 year-old woman in connection with the death of Shaun Lyall on Sidney Street in Cleethorpes.  She is in custody and will be questioned by detectives investigating Shaun's death.

A1079: Average speed cameras catch same driver speeding dozens of times over months

41 year-old Jaroslaw Mista of Anlaby Road in Hull appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Wednesday 11 July.  Facing nearly 20 charges for speeding offences on the A1079.
 
Jaroslaw Mista had been detected on the average speed cameras which were installed along the A1079 on 2016.  He was recorded speeding number of times at similar times over a period of months.

Cleethorpes: The man who's body was found yesterday on Sidney Street is named as Sean Lyall, also known as Sean Ireland.

Sean's body was found yesterday evening and we launched a murder investigation.  Investigators and forensic officers have been carrying out their work throughout the day and making house to house enquiries locally.

A scene guard will likely be in place for the next few days, any local residents that are feeling concerned please do not hesitate to speak to one of our officers.

Hull: Appeal for help to recover stolen property

A Takeuchi red and grey mini digger was stolen in a from a construction site on Partington Drive in Hull on 2 July.  The digger carried ‘Yorkshire Plant' logo.  It was loaded into a white van, with what are believed to be false plates, and taken from the site.

Scunthorpe: Jamaine Parker sentenced in court

Jamaine Parker (22) of no fixed abode appeared in court on 6 July and was sentenced to 12 years in prison for deliberately setting a fire in a storage room of the Royal Hotel in Scunthorpe in early hours of 27 February 2018.

Grimsby: Man robbed while sat in car

We are looking for two men in connection with an alleged robbery and assault which happened in Grimsby.

A man was sat in a black Volkswagen Eos car on West St Mary’s Gate on 13 July 2018 with the window open when he was approached by the men around 5pm.

We have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of the body of a man in a property on Sidney Street in Cleethorpes.

We were called at 6.45pm yesterday.  We will have a cordon in place on the street to secure the scene to allow for investigators and forensic officers to examine the scene.

A man who took to the roof of a building in Anlaby Road, Hull, earlier this evening has been brought down safely.

We were called at around 6.40pm today afollowing reports of concerns for his safety and closed the road in both directions to ensure the safety of the public, the man and our officers.

Hull: Can you help us recover stolen property?

We are investigating the burglary of a garage on Malton Street in Hull overnight between 6pm on 11 July and 7am on 12 July.

Three cars were stolen during the burglary.  The cars, a Vauxhall Corsa, a Mini and a Ford Fiesta were stolen along with computer equipment, vehicle repair and mechanical equipment.
