Hull: We’re looking for stolen machines and parts

Officers will be out and about today as part of Operation Yellowfin checking motorbikes to see if they have any identification tags on them - and to check if the rider matches the tag.

Data tagging is a system where microchips are inserted into bikes to mark them and provide an identification reference that can be easily checked.

Holderness: Sheep stolen then killed and dumped at roadside

We are appealing for help to find those responsible for the theft and killing of a sheep from a farm in Ottringham, Holderness.

The sheep was stolen from a farm on Keyingham Road in Ottringham between 5.30pm 7 April and 8am on 8 April. The sheep was later found mutilated near Halsham drain on the afternoon of 8 April.

Hull: Advice to businesses not to keep cash on the premises as six town centre shops are broken into

Hull Central Inspector Kirsty Tock said, “Police community teams are making business visits today in Hull city centre to advise them not to leave cash on their premises.  Last night there were six burglaries where cash tins and equipment were stolen.

Laceby: Can you help?

We’re looking for a man in connection with a suspected burglary at a property on Gibraltar Lane, Laceby on 10 April 2018.

The homeowner was woken up around 2am to find a man in an outbuilding. He locked him into the building but the suspect managed to smash his way out of a set of French doors and made off.

Money and computer games were stolen.

Hull: We’re tackling motorbike crime on the forecourt

Illegal or unroadworthy motorbike? No number plate or helmet? Too young to ride? 

If so, then you might find it difficult to buy any petrol!

As part of our continued initiative to tackle motorbike crime, we’re working with petrol station owners to look out for anyone who is riding a motorbike illegally and stop them from filling up.

We were called in the early hours of this morning to a serious assault on Anlaby Road in Hull.  A 25 year-old man was taken to HRI with serious but not life-threatening injuries following an assault in an address.

Bridlington: Can you assist?

Two teenagers and a woman have been arrested in connection with the theft of a car and property from a premises in Bridlington.

A silver Audi A5 was stolen following a party on Wayside Crescent in the early hours of 1 April 2018. A MacBook Air computer, iPad 4, a Kindle e-reader, a silver ring and three Xbox controllers were also stolen.

Hedon: We are appealing for the driver of 4x4 to come forward

A pedestrian, a 93 year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was treated in hospital following a collision with a vehicle.  A dark coloured Mercedes 4x4 reversed out of a space in the car park of the Coop on Market Place in Hedon at 3.30pm on 1 April.

Bempton: A165 RTC

A motorcyclist who sadly died in a road traffic collision near Bempton has been named. 

Ryan Patrick Craven, 26, from West Flotmanby Hall Farm, Muston near Filey passed away following the incident on the A165 on 30 March 2018.  

Mr Craven’s family are aware and are being supported by our specialist officers.
