Hornsea: Warrants executed

Two women and a man have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the importation and supply of class A and B drugs and money laundering.

It follows the seizure of nearly £250,000 worth of drugs by the UK Border Agency on the south coast that were destined for Hornsea.

Grimsby: Charged in connection with reports of following women

A Romanian man has been charged with two counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in connection with reports of a man following women in North East Lincolnshire.

Cosmin Toaba, 32, of Coningsby Drive, Grimsby, is due to appear before Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates Court on May 29.

We would like to thank all those who have come forward with information.

Brough: Appeal for witnesses

We are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that happened on Welton Road in Brough at 5pm yesterday (15 April).

An 11 year-old boy was struck by a car as he crossed the road.  The boy suffered a head injury in the collision and remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Warning to residents and those caring for the elderly – help us spread the word and prevent victims of scams.

We have recently had yet another case of telephone calls being made by people impersonating HMRC Tax officers.  They told an elderly couple that they owe tax and have to pay in the form of ‘ITUNES’ or ‘STEAM’ Vouchers.  They threatened the couple, saying that if they don’t pay they will be arrested and taken to court.

Hull: Can you help us locate the next of kin of Raymond Tune (67)?

Raymond Melvin Tune, known as Ray, sadly died at his home on Goodwin Parade in Hull on Wednesday 11 April.  We have not been able to locate his next of kin and the Coroner has asked for us to help in find anyone who might be able to find his relatives.

Hull: Hundreds of riders expected in the city

As a climax to Operation Yellowfin’s week of activity hundreds of motorbikes and riders are expected to meet in Hull on Sunday.

The ‘ride out’ on  15 April is an event organised and promoted by motorcycle groups and supported by Humberside Police.

Hull: New CCTV images

We now have new CCTV images of a man we want to speak with in connection with a burglary at a hairdressers on Prospect Street in Hull.

The burglary happened around 7.30pm on 1 April 2018. An offender broke into the premises by smashing the door and stole electronic equipment including 2 laptops an iPad and a quantity of cash.

M62: Car passenger has sadly died

A man who was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision on the M62 near Goole on 3 April 2018 has sadly died.

The 37-year-old from Manchester was a passenger in a car involved in a collision with a HGV around 9.30am. The truck had gone through the central reservation into oncoming traffic.
