Hull: Man arrested

We attended an incident on Holderness Road this morning which has necessitated a partial closure of the street. 

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

Holderness Road is now fully open.

Grimsby: A 17 year-old youth arrested following assault and criminal damage at premises on Orwell Street.

A 17 year-old Grimsby youth has been arrested following a disturbance at 10.30pm on 23 September at a premises on Orwell Street in Grimsby.

He has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, obstruction and assault of a police officer, affray and fraud.

Scunthorpe: Man evading arrest has fallen from a roof of a house in Scunthorpe

We were called to reports of a man having stolen some property from a supermarket on Ormsby Road in Scunthorpe.  The man took to the roof of a terraced house nearby to evade arrest.

The man subsequently fell from the roof and has suffered leg and back injuries, the extent of his injuries are not yet confirmed however they are not thought to be life threatening.

An investigation has been launched into a robbery on Perran Close, Bransholme, Hull at around 11pm on Saturday 22 September. 

It was reported that a man was approached by four teenage boys who allegedly assaulted him before stealing cash from him.

We are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which happened at around 10pm on Saturday 22 September 2018.

An 18 year-old hull man, who was riding his bike, suffered a serious head injury when he collided with a car on the A1033 Hedon Road, between King George Dock and Marfleet Lane.

Bridlington: Suspect in custody

We want to reassure people in Bridlington today following an incident this lunchtime when a man walked into a bank holding a toy gun.

Officers were called around 11.30am following reports that the man had entered Barclays Bank on Manor Street with the toy.

Hull: Man in dark clothing sought

We are looking for a man in connection with an alleged attempted robbery in Hull.

The incident happened near the corner of Gloucester Street and Hessle Road on 25 August around 11.30pm.

A woman reported that as she walked along Gloucester Street she was approached by a man who was said to be holding a small knife.

Hull: Attempted handbag robbery

We’re looking for two youths in connection with an attempted robbery in Hull.

It happened at the junction with Auckland Avenue and Inglemire Lane around 2pm on 31 July. 

Two women were walking along together when the youths allegedly rode up behind them on a red moped and tried to grab one of the women’s handbags.

The victim hung onto her bag and the suspects rode off.
