Hull and East Riding: Travel disruption as load travels through our area
An abnormal load will leave Queen Elizabeth Docks in Hull en-route to Tadcaster today. The convoy will leave at 9.30am and will travel along the A1033, A63 before it leaves the East Riding for onward travel to Tadcaster.
We are investigating a large hay stack fire on Main Road in Bilton that was reported to us at 8.40pm last night. We believe the fire was started deliberately and it is being treated as arson. We have arrested two 16 year-old boys in connection with the incident.

Bridlington: Re-appeal for help to ID man in connection with assault
On Garrison Street in Bridlington on Monday 7 May a man suffered an assault. We issued an appeal for information at the time and from that we have identified two people. We want your help again as a further CCTV image is now available.

Scunthorpe: We’re looking for a woman and a distinctive rucksack
As part of our enquiry into the alleged murder of 51-year-old Raymond Ward in Scunthorpe on 9 July 2018, we are very keen to speak with a woman who was in the area at the time who might be an important witness.
The woman was walking along Oswald Road towards Scunthorpe town centre around 9.15am on 9 July. She may be able to provide information that could help us.
