Crowle: CCTV stills released of man wanted in connection with armed robbery

CCTV stills show a man officers are keen to speak to in connection with a suspected armed robbery at the Tesco Express store in Crowle, between 9.20 and 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 29.
The suspect approached the store, put on a full face balaclava and approached a female member of staff who was working on the till.

Speed awareness campaign continues

A Special Constable out on patrol with the Humberside Police Roads Policing Officers captured a vehicle travelling on the M62 at 94mph.

​Officers followed the vehicle for a short period of time where the vehicle reached speeds of 100mph before safely stopping the vehicle.

Humberside Police Roads Policing Team in partnership with Safer Roads Humber conducted an operation to catch drivers committing offences during a week-long operation on the motorways dual carriageways of the Humberside region.

A HGV cab was provided free of charge to Humberside Police from Highways England in support of their national campaign to enforce traffic laws.

The cab was driven by a police driver and an officer armed with a video camera sat in the passenger seat high above the car traffic on the look-out for offenders.

Following the Humberside Police summer 2015 Drink and Drug Drive casualty reduction campaign officers across the Force carried out close to 2000 breath tests.

Throughout June and July Humberside Police, in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, carried out a summer campaign to raise awareness and reduce the incidence of drink and drug driving on our roads and reduce drink and drug drive related collisions and injuries.

Cleethorpes: Can you help identify those responsible?

A couple and a male friend were treated in hospital after being attacked by a large gang of youths during a night out in Cleethorpes.

The attack happened at around 11.30pm on Thursday, August 6, as the trio walked from Market Place to Cross Street.

Winterton and Roxby: Did you see anything suspicious?

Officers are hunting those responsible for setting hay bales alight in two fields in Winterton and Roxby.

The first incident took place in a field adjacent to Winterton Observatory, Top Road, Scunthorpe, between 4.45pm and 5pm on Saturday, August 8.

A group of four girls and boys, thought to be aged 12 to 13 years old, were seen running from the area.

The watch, necklace and bangle, pictured below, were among the items stolen during a break-in at a house in Scunthorpe’s Thornton Avenue, between 4pm on Friday, August 7 and 1.30pm on Sunday, August 9.

A white Volkswagen Polo, two orange hi-vis jackets and various electrical items were also taken.

Nunsthorpe: Did you see anything suspicious?

A Grimsby man has been arrested in connection with a break-in on the Nunsthorpe estate.
Officers were called at 4.45am today (Tuesday, August 11) following reports a house had been broken into and a car stolen in Milton Road.
A rear door of the property was forced open and various electronics and a purse were stolen, along with car keys.

Grimsby: Thank you for your help in locating Oliver

Oliver Samuels has been found safe and well. 

Oliver Samuels (16) from Immingham contacted police at around 6pm last night (Monday August 11) after being reported missing on Sunday July 12.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

Crowle: Man remains in custody

A man has been arrested in relation to a suspected armed robbery at Tesco Express on Crowle High Street.
The incident happened between 9.20 and 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 29.
The suspect, who was believed to have been armed with a knife, is said to have approached the store, put on a full face balaclava and approached a female member of staff who was working on the till.

Bridlington: Report of stolen number plate. CCTV released

In the early hours of Sunday morning (August 2, 2015) a vehicle number plate was removed from the back of a parked car along High Street, Bridlington.

The removal of the number plate is being treated as theft and damage.

CCTV in the area has identified a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
