Hull: Police appeal following suspected arson on Louis Street.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected case of arson at a block of four flats at 3am this morning April 27.

The Tour de Yorkshire is in the East Riding of Yorkshire next week resulting in a number of road closures.

East Riding: Always Lock your Doors and Windows

Doors and windows left open have allowed burglars easy access to homes in the East Riding over the past few nights.

A number of burglaries have been reported across the area which could have been avoided had the owners made their property secure by locking doors.

Hull: Appeal to find the relatives of Jason Key

POLICE are appealing for any known relatives of 40-year-old Hull man Jason Key to make contact.

Mr Key died in Hull on April 13 2015.  It is believed that there may be two sisters and a brother in the Hull area but unfortunately no one has been located.

Cleethorpes: Disturbance on Grant Street leads to charges

A man has been charged following a disturbance in the early hours of Wednesday April 22 on Grant Street, Cleethorpes.

46 year-old Hafez Ahmed of Cleethorpes was charged with affray and possession of a knife/blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

Mr Ahmed appeared at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates Court today.

Following a recent appeal officers investigating the case have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

Police are investigating the robbery of a man on Frederick Ward Way just after midnight on Tuesday April 7.

Hornsea: Investigators seek help to find stolen property.

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened on April 20 between 10.45am and 12 noon on Mereside.  The homeowners were working in the garden at the time and an intruder entered the home unnoticed through an unlocked door.

B1240: Thorn Road Hedon

Police attended at an road traffic collision on the B1240, Thorn Road, Hedon at 2.30pm today.

The vehicles involved are a van and a motorcycle.

The van driver was uninjured whilst the motorcyclist sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and has been taken to HRI for treatment.

Bridlington: Can you help officers find those responsible?

POLICE are appealing for witnesses and help in identifying the person responsible for throwing a heavy glass ashtray through the window of a house on Wellington Road at 9.30pm on April 20.

Cleethorpes: Man in custody under suspicion of threats to kill

Humberside Police were called to a disturbance on Grant Street in the early hours of today.

Reports were of a man making threats to members of the public in a pub.

A 46 year-old Cleethorpes man was arrested following the incident and remains in police custody.  The man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill, affray and possession of a knife blade.
