Bilton: Appeal to find stolen bikes and identify those responsible

Humberside Police are investigating the burglary of a summerhouse on Dawney Road in Bilton.  Intruders broke into the garage at the rear of the house between 10pm May 20 and 5am May 21.  Two tandem bikes were stolen.  The bikes are described as a blue/green metallic tandem racing bike and a bright yellow tandem with black mudguards.

Market Weighton: Appeal for witnesses following serious collision involving a bus and a cyclist on Holme Road.

Emergency services attended to a road traffic collision between a red single decker bus and cyclist at 1pm yesterday, May 27.

The bus and cyclist were both travelling along Holme Road in the direction towards Market Weighton.

Bridlington: Criminal Damage to vehicle appeal to identify man

A man is alleged to have kicked out at a passing car and caused damage.  The incident happened on South Marine Drive at approximately 730pm on May 5 (the night of the Prodigy concert at Bridlington Spa).

The car was a yellow Ford Fiesta with a black and white chequered roof.

Grimsby: Appeal for witnesses and help to find those responsible

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened at 5pm on May 27 on Pheonix Street, Grimsby.

An elderly woman was unlocking her front door when a man engaged her in conversation he then managed to slip past her as she put her walker away.  He entered her home and stole a wallet and purse which contained cash.

Goole: Appeal to find stolen bikes and identify those responsible.

Humberside Police are investigating the burglary of a garage on Woodland Avenue in Goole.  Intruders broke into the garage at the rear of the house between 10pm May 23 and 9am May 24.  Two trials bikes and a quantity of tools were stolen.  The bikes are described as a blue Sherco 125T, 2005 model and a red GasGas JTR250, 1996 model.

Withernsea: Appeal for witnesses as 78-year-old woman is a victim of attempted robbery and assault.

Police are investigating the attempted robbery and assault which took place taken place at around 1145pm yesterday May 26 as she walked home.

The attack happened at the rear of Kirkfield flats on Kirkfield Road.  The woman had walked along Princess Avenue, along Queens Street and through the snicket to Kirkfield Road.

Goole: Appeal for information and for witnesses to an assault.

Police are investigating an assault of a 48 year-old man which took place outside his house on Westparkside in Goole shortly before 1am on Sunday May 17.

The man was assaulted in the open garage of his home when he returned home after a night out.  He was taken to hospital for treatment to a laceration on his head.

Driffield: Police appeal following suspected arson on St John’s Road.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected case of arson to a caravan on St John’s Road in Driffield.  The fire completely destroyed a caravan and soon spread to cause damage to an adjoining house, shed and fencing.

No one was harmed in the incident which occurred at just after midnight this morning, May 26.

Cottingham: Appeal for witnesses and taxi driver to come forward

A 13-year-old girl suffered bruising and muscular injuries when she was in collision with a red taxi on the mini roundabout at the junction of Endyke Lane and New Village Road in Cottingham on Wednesday April 29 at approximately 6.15pm.

The taxi driver did initially stop to offer the girl assistance but did not leave his details and police are now trying to trace the him.

Walkington: Appeal for information as cyclist is found injured on a country road

Police are trying to establish the circumstances of how a cyclist came by his injuries when he was found laid in the road on the B1230 near Walkington.

Bridlington: Appeal for information and witnesses

Police are investigating an assault which took place on Bessingby Road at 9.30pm on Wednesday May 6.

A 58-year-old man Bridlington man suffered minor injuries to his head as he was punched repeatedly in the attack.  He was taken to Scarborough Hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Hedon: Investigators ask help in finding stolen property and to find those responsible.

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened between 2pm and 4pm on May 1 on Church Lane in Hedon.  The home-owner was in the garden when intruder entered the home unnoticed through an unlocked door.

The intruder took a Michael Kors black handbag that contained Chanel sunglasses and a quantity of cash.
