Brigg: Did you see attack on teenager?

A 17-year-old man was pushed into the path of a car as he walked along Bridge Road, Brigg, between 2.30 and 3.30pm on Saturday, June 6.

The victim was walking away from a petrol station with a group of three friends when he was hit on the back of the head by a man who was known to him.

Hull: Thief forced way into convenience store

The hunt is on for a man suspected of breaking into a Sutton Park convenience store in the early hours of this morning (June 4)
A man is believed to have forced entry to the McColl's store on Ridsdale, at around 4.07am, before making an untidy search of an office and escaping with 80 packets of cigarettes.

Disciplinary: Staff member dismissed

Police employee Colin Andrews was dismissed from Humberside Police at a misconduct hearing held at Police Headquarters on Wednesday June 3. In accordance with the organisation’s internal procedures, Mr Andrews has been provided with a right of appeal.

Grimsby: Keep your windows and doors locked

Elderly residents have been warned to be on their guard after a man claiming to be a window cleaner was stopped trying to get into a home in Grimsby’s Peppercorn Walk.

The incident happened at 12.52pm on Thursday June 4, when a relative of the elderly occupant arrived to see the man opening the insecure front door and stepping over the threshold.

Hull: Man arrested following collision on Maybury Road

Witnesses are being sought to a road traffic collision on Hull’s Maybury Road on Saturday, May 30.

The collision between a silver Vauxhall Astra and silver Mitsubishi L200 4Life happened between 1.10pm and 1.20pm.

The driver of the Astra, a 47-year-old Hull man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and has been bailed to a date in July.

Bridlington: Did you see altercation in King's Arms?

Witnesses are being sought following an altercation in the King’s Arms, Bridlington between 6.30pm and 6.44pm on Saturday, May 30.

A 51-year-old man was on a night out with family when it is alleged an altercation broke out between him and a man within the bar, resulting in the victim suffering a small cut to his forehead and bruising and swelling to the face.

Melton Ross: 400 lambs and 200 sheep taken from field

Thieves have stolen sheep to the value of £50,000 from a farm near Melton Ross, off the A18, between 7pm on Tuesday, June 2 and 7.15am on Wednesday, June 3.

The offenders forced open a gate to a field on the left side of the A18, heading away from Barnetby Top, making off with approximately 200 sheep and 400 lambs.

North Cave: Appeal to trace owners of animals

Can you help to trace the owners of a horse that caused £2,500 of damage after running into a car whilst loose on the B1230 North Cave?

The animal was injured in the incident, which happened just after 4.30pm on Saturday, May 23. However, as the owner has not been traced, the condition of the animal is not known.

Residents have been warned to be vigilant about home security after a thief snuck into an unlocked home as the occupant slept upstairs.

The burglary happened at a detached property in Lichfield Close, Beverley, at 12.30am on Tuesday June 2.

Driffield: Can you identify man captured on CCTV?

Can you help trace a suspected arsonist who set fire to a caravan parked on the driveway of a house in St John’s Road, Driffield?

A suspect was captured on CCTV running from the scene of the fire, which caused almost £2,000 of damage to the semi-detached house, the neighbouring property, a shed and Cross Hill school’s fence.

Beverley: Help police find stolen tools

A significant amount of cash, tools and boilers were stolen from commercial premises in a remote area of Beverley.

The break-in happened at a large industrial complex, split into a number of units, between 5.30pm on Saturday, May 30 and 7.20am on Monday, June 1.

Unknown offender(s) used force to enter the premises, where they made an untidy search. A safe was also broken into.
