Rawcliffe: Police appeal for witnesses and to help locate stolen property.

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a garage burglary which happened between 7.30am and at 3pm on Riverside, Rawcliffe near Goole on June 2.

Wetwang man found dead at his home

Officers have launched an appeal to trace the next of kin of a Wetwang man.

David Michael Catton, 70, of Southfield Terrace, was found dead at his home on Thursday, June 2.

It is understood he was born in Harrogate. However, as yet, officers have been unable to trace any relatives.

26 year-old Hornsea man, Thomas Edward Henry Bielby has been charged with assault following and incident on the Esplanade in Hornsea just after midnight on Sunday June 28.

Hornsea: Robbery and assault – Appeal for witnesses

Shortly after midnight on Sunday June 28, a 58 year-old Hornsea man was walking along Cliff Road when he was struck on the head from behind causing him to fall, unconscious, to the ground.

While on the ground he was robbed of his wallet containing cash and bank cards.

Cottingham: Three Hull men were arrested in connection with burglary following high speed pursuit.

Three men (aged 22, 26 & 31) from Hull are awaiting questioning by officers following their arrest after an early morning high speed pursuit through north Hull this morning.

Did you see collision?

A Scunthorpe man has died following a single vehicle collision near the junction of Moorwell Road and Scotter Road at around 3.54pm on Thursday, July 2.

It is believed the red Peugeot France left the road after the driver suffered a medical episode at the wheel.

Ambulance crews attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His details cannot be released at this time.

Grimsby: Public urged to avoid area

Police are currently in attendance at an incident at a property in Burwell Drive, in Grimsby’s Nunsthorpe estate.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, has taken to the roof the property and there is concern for his safety.

An appropriate response has been deployed.

Hedon: Appeal to find stolen bike and tools, can you help police find those responsible.

Humberside Police are investigating the burglary of a garage on Westlands Road in Hedon.  Intruders broke into the garage of the house between 9.30am June 26 and 3pm June 29.

A Sakura electric bike and a quantity of tools, including a Dremel power tool, a Jig-saw, a cordless screwdriver, Black and Decker sander, a planer, an angle grinder and a multi tool were stolen.

Lions across Hull and East Riding have given a roar of approval to Lifestyle 2015.

The project – which has been running for more than 27 years - is open to young people aged 10 to 18 and aims to encourage teams to come together to make a difference in their community.

Bridlington: Collision between two cars on Marlborough Road. Appeal to identify driver.

A collision involving a green Peugeot 307 and a blue Mercedes CLK occurred at 11.50am on June 25.  Police are asking the driver of the Peugeot to contact them to provide his details.

No one was injured in the collision.

The driver of the Peugeot 307 should contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 242 of 25/06/2015.

Hornsea: Four properties were burgled in one night. Police release CCTV footage and appeal for help to find those responsible.

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into four burglaries which happened overnight on June 19 and 20 in Hornsea.

A home on Victoria Avenue was broken into between 1.15am and 2am causing damage to both external and internal doors, two Michael Kors watches, an Armani watch, several items of sports clothing and cosmetics were stolen. Ref 2121298

Barton: Adam Baxter was man who "broke mould"

The family of a passionate mechanic and car lover have paid tribute to a man who “broke the mould”.

As reported, Adam Baxter, 26, of Barton, died when his car left the M180 on Tuesday June 16.

On Tuesday, his devastated parents Karen and Curt, sisters Becky, Laura and Sophie and his partner Dara Brown held a celebration of his life at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe.
