Beverley: Car failed to stop with two wanted people inside

Police who were patrolling the Beverley area in the early hours of this morning came across a blue coloured MG ZR acting suspiciously.

The car failed to stop, and following a short pursuit the vehicle was abandoned by the driver who ran off. A passenger, a woman, was arrested at the scene.

The driver was located a short time later at a property on Eastgate in Beverley.

Hull: Can you identify man on CCTV?

Can you help to trace a man suspected of stealing a bike from a Wyke College, Hull?

The white Claud Butler bike, decorated with red lines, was double locked in the bicycle shed at the Grammar School Road college on May 11.

However, between 12.40pm and 4pm the bike was stolen.

Fridaythorpe: Did you witness collision?

Two people from the Leeds area have been killed in a two vehicle collision on the B1251 between Fimber and Fridaythorpe at around 11.50am on Monday, July 13.

The 70-year-old male driver and 65-year-old female passenger were travelling in a silver Vauxhall Meriva, which was in collision with a grey Range Rover, travelling in the opposite direction.

Update: Two witnesses found following sudden death on Fraisthorpe Beach

Update: Last week we appealed for two girls to contact the police following a man in the sea, after our appeal both girls came forward - thank you.

 

Police were called at around 8pm on Friday July 3, reporting concern for the safety of a man in the sea at Fraisthorpe.

Police and the Coast Guard attended but the 67-year-old man had died at the scene.

Grimsby: five arrested in connection with incident

Five people have now been arrested in connection with an incident in Grimsby's Stanley Street.

Police were called at 8.53pm on Sunday July 12 to reports of a man in the street in possession of an axe.

A number of uniformed officers were sent to the scene, along with an armed response unit and police dog handlers and a suspect was identified.

Bridlington: witnesses sought after damaged caused

Four teenagers are to be voluntarily interviewed this week after two cars were damaged on Thursday evening.

At 6.45pm on Thursday July 9, 2015 it is alleged four teenagers on mopeds and a motocross bike chased after two vehicles on the Promenade in Bridlington which caused them to crash.

Cleethorpes: Did you see collision near roundabout?

Witnesses are being sought to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Cleethorpes.

The collision happened at around 4pm on Thursday, July 9, as a woman pushing a pedal cycle crossed Taylor’s Avenue, at the crossing point close to Hewitt’s Circus roundabout.

Grimsby: Man in hospital after he was discovered this morning

Police have been in attendance at the flyover of Prince Albert Gardens in Grimsby, following the discovery of a man with serious facial injuries.

A 999 call was made to the police and ambulance service at 7.47am after a passer-by witnessed a man face-down with injuries, under the flyover near Prince Albert Gardens and King Edward Street.

Scunthorpe: Can you help trace driver?

Officers are hunting a man who is said to have attempted to force a pregnant woman into a car in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 41-year-old woman was walking along Oswald Road at around 3am, when a man in a black saloon car slowed and asked if she was okay.

She replied she was, but he continued to follow her, repeating the question.

Beverley: 17-year-old girl indecently touched

As a 17-year-old girl was walking back from college on Wednesday July 8 in Beverley a man is alleged to have indecently touched her.

It is believed as the girl walked passed the Beverley Memorial Hall on Lairgate at 2.15pm, the man allegedly brushed passed the girl, cupping his hand over her backside and squeezing it, before walking off.

The girl was upset by this incident.
