Beverley: Appeal for witnesses

An 86-year-old man died following a road traffic collision on Wednesday September 23 on the A1079 (Beverley by-pass) between Jocks Lodge and the Dog Kennel Lane roundabout at 11.55am.

The man was driving a red Toyota Yaris, travelling in the direction of Jocks Lodge from the Dog Kennel Lane roundabout at the time of the collision.

A18: Incident happened between Scrawby Crossroads and Castlethorpe

A Broughton woman suffered potentially life threatening injuries following a collision with a car on the A18 in North Lincolnshire on Wednesday September 23.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm between Scawby Crossroads and Castlethorpe and saw the 19-year-old woman in collision with a white Citroen DS5.

The teenager was crossing the road when the incident happened.

Grimsby: Third day of Operation Impact hailed success

Seven people have been arrested today as part of Operation Impact – and other criminals in the East Marsh area of Grimsby have been warned we’re coming for them too.

Superintendent Ed Cook, said the week-long operation was proving to be a big success, with wide-reaching activity across the area being delivered by a number of local agencies.

Jewellery and Electronics stolen from house in Bridlington whilst occupants slept

Sometime between 11pm on Saturday August 29th and 9am on Sunday September 1st, 2015, a semi-detached house on Nightingale Road in Bridlington was entered.

It is believed the house was entered via the front door, whilst the occupants slept upstairs.

Whilst the burglar was inside the house, several downstairs rooms were entered and a thorough search was conducted.

Walkington: Fatal Road Traffic Collision between Jocks Lodge and Killingwoldgrave Roundabout

At 11.56am today (Wednesday September 23, 2015) a passing police car came across what looked to be a very recent road traffic collision, on the A1079 between Jocks Lodge and Killingwoldgrave Roundabout involving a red Toyota Yaris and a Heavy Goods Vehicle Lorry.

At the scene, the Toyota Yaris was on fire and the 86-year-old driver was still inside the car.

Grimsby: Operation Impact continues

Two people have been arrested this morning after officers executed two simultaneous warrants under the misuse of drugs act as part of Operation Impact.

A man and a woman were detained at an address in Taylor Street, Cleethorpes and arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Application to attend

A Misconduct Hearing will be held at Humberside Police Headquarters on Thursday October 1 at 10am and is scheduled to last for two days.

Pc Jason McCusker will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a Breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Honesty and Integrity, contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.

Grimsby: Working together to make a difference

Four people have been arrested today as part of the ongoing Operation Impact on the East Marsh estate in Grimsby.

Two men were detained at an address on Cleethorpe Road where officers executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Elsewhere a woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and later a man was arrested for breach of bail.

Scunthorpe: CCTV stills of Frodingham Road incident

Officers have released CCTV stills of a man they wish to speak to urgently in connection with an incident whereby two men sustained stab wounds in the Frodingham Road area of Scunthorpe earlier today (Tuesday September 22).

Police were called to the scene at around 1pm following an altercation in the area between Porter street and Percival street.

Scunthorpe: Police are responding to a serious incident

Police are currently responding to a serious incident in the Frodingham Road area of Scunthorpe following a call at 1.01pm (22/09/15). 

Two men have reportedly sustained serious injuries and have been taken to hospital.

Armed officers have been deployed to the area to search for the suspect.

Road closures are in place in the area.

Scunthorpe: CCTV stills released of suspected robber

Do you know this man?
Officers are keen to speak to him in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store on Scunthorpe’s Manor Road at around 10.30am on Sunday, August 23.
A man is said to have gone into the store and threatened the female shop assistant with a screwdriver, before taking cash from the till.
