Did you witness an arson in Withernsea?

At 10.15pm on Saturday evening (10/10/2015) it is believed a person approached a silver coloured Vauxhall Signum car parked on Francis Avenue in Withernsea, smashed the window and threw an ignited object into the car, before running off.

Police are investigating a theft of baby milk from Co-Operative Supermarket in Bridlington

The theft happened on Monday 14, September 2015.

Scunthorpe: Can you help identify robber?

Can you help officers track down a man who robbed a man at knifepoint in Scunthorpe on Saturday night?

The incident happened as the 29-year-old victim walked into Digby Street, Scunthorpe, at around 11.15pm on Saturday, October 10.

As he drew level with Richard Earl Motors, a man approached him from behind and showed him a knife, before demanding money and punching the victim.

Sandtoft: Appeal for information

A large quantity of gold jewellery was stolen from a Sandtoft house by five masked men between 11.25am and 12.05pm on Friday, October 9.

The gang forced opened the rear door of the property in Belton Road and threatened the female occupant with a knife.

That is the latest message from Humberside Police, as part of a continued drive to reach out to victims of hate crime.

The level of reported hate crime is falling across the force area – with 1,441 crimes or non-criminal incidents recorded between January 2014 and March 2015.

Grimsby: local man faces two charges

Detectives investigating a disturbance in Churchill Way in Grimsby yesterday (Friday October 9), which resulted in the death of one man and serious injury to another, have charged a man.

Michael David Preston (19), of Durban Road in Grimsby, has this afternoon been charged with the murder of Dean Southwick (29) and the attempt murder of an 18-year-old Grimsby man.

The man killed in an incident in Grimsby earlier today has been formally identified this evening as Dean Southwick.

Hessle: Specialist cycles stolen in garage break in

Two specialist bikes were stolen from a garage in Boothferry Road, Hessle.

The break in happened between 11pm on Thursday, October 8 and 6am the following day.

A red and black Fuji D6 triathlon bike and blue and white Fuji Team, Carbon Pro, carbon road bike were stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting crime reference number 2143450 of October 8.
