Hull: Woman threatened

We are looking for three men on suspicion of an alleged robbery on Beverley Road in Hull in the early hours of 8 August 2018.

The victim had withdrawn money from a Post Office ATM just after midnight. She was walking towards a friend’s house when she allegedly had her hair pulled, was threatened, and had the cash stolen.

Cleethorpes: New information coming in

Detective Chief Inspector Stewart Miller who is leading the investigation has provided an update today. He said: “Since we launched our appeal we’ve received a number of new pieces of information which we’re now following up.

“We need that information to keep coming in, and we’re actively working with other police forces across the UK in our search for Abdi Ali.

We want to restate that this was an isolated incident. There was and is no further threat to the wider community.

Grimsby: We’re looking for his next of kin

Can you help us find the relatives of David Lee Simpson who passed away at Grimsby’s Diana Princess of Wales Hospital on 16 July 2018. 

Mr Simpson, who was 56-years-old, lived at Winn Court in Grimsby. He used to live in Cleethorpes for some time.

Hull: Can you help us recover two stolen bikes? Did you witness an assault?

We are investigating the theft of two bikes and the assault of a man on Buckingham Street in Hull.

At around 4.50pm on Monday 6 August a man was riding his bike along Buckingham Street when he saw someone with a bike which had been stolen from him outside a shop a few days before.

Hull: Two men arrested this afternoon

We have arrested two men on Hessle Road in Hull this afternoon.

They have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident outside a pharmacy on Goodwin Parade in Hull at 2.45pm today, where a pharmaceutical delivery van was stolen and the driver threatened.

Bridlington: Three businesses were burgled and two vehicles and two caravans were stolen – can you help us with our investigations?

We are appealing for witnesses and for help to recover vehicles stolen in three burglaries.

On Saturday 21 July intruders broke into two businesses on the industrial estate at Carnaby.  A Landrover Defender and a white Ford Transit van were stolen.

Hull: Ishaq Al-Noor was sentenced to 16 years in jail at Hull Crown Court

Ishaq Al-Noor raped one woman and attempted to rape another in the cemetery on Spring Bank in June and November 2017.  Yesterday he was sentenced to 16 years behind bars.  He will serve at least 10 years of this sentence before he can apply for parole and he will remain on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
