Hull: We’re looking for two men

A 22–year-old woman was allegedly robbed of the contents of her handbag while walking along Saltshouse Road in Hull on 19 May 2018.

The woman was approached from behind by two men around 10pm, pushed forward and had her handbag taken.

One of the men emptied the bag and stole car keys, house keys and a bank card before making off. The victim was shaken and upset but unhurt.

Brigg: She may be in Cambridgeshire

17-year-old Daisy-May Burton left her home in Brigg on Thursday evening - telling her family she was going to Grimsby - and hasn't been in touch with them since.

29-year-old David Gelder of Coronation Road, Hull has today been charged with six offences following a seizure of drugs in West Hull yesterday.

Hull: Alcohol and cigarettes seized

In response to concerns raised by local residents and businesses along Beverley Road regarding antisocial behaviour and alcohol-related crime, a week of action was arranged this week.  

The Hull West community policing team, Humberside Police licensing department and community safety unit worked alongside Hull City Council, Immigration, HMRC and the DVLA to tackle the problem.

Grimsby: Trial concludes

Marc Finnie, 44, and Sarah Finnie, 36, of Sutcliffe Avenue in Grimsby have today been sentenced to a total of 15 years in prison for the manslaughter of 45-year-old Tony Richardson in Grimsby on 15 Jan 2018.

Marc Finnie received 8 years and Sarah Finnie received 7 years.

Road reopening

The A63 is being reopened following the earlier incident.

Snaith: Incident now over

An incident involving an unidentified ordnance device found at a property on High Street, Snaith has now been resolved.

The EOD attended along with officers, the device was removed and a controlled explosion was carried out at another location.

The road has been re-opened after being closed earlier for public safety. Thank you for your patience while we dealt with this.

North Hull: Charges, arrests, drugs and cash seized on one day

Large quantities of drugs and more than a £1000 in cash have been seized by our Proactive Team officers working in North Hull on Thursday 17 May.

A man was arrested at one property on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply. Between 60 and 70 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine and the money were seized at the same address.
