Grimsby: Appeal for witnesses and to recover stolen property

An 81 year-old man was left shaken after he was robbed of his passport, birth certificate and other sentimental items.

The robbery happened at 1.30pm on Rendel Street in Grimsby on Friday 8 June.  The victim was not injured in the incident but was very shaken and upset that the envelope he was carrying containing private and sentimental information was stolen.

Grimsby and Cleethorrpes: Two men appear in court

Today we have charged 18 year-old Joshua Chandler of South Parade, Grimsby, with nine offences following his arrest on Friday.  Joshua has been charged with two robberies, taking a motor vehicle (a moped), three driving offences, the assault of two police officers and for affray after he took to the roof of a building yesterday.  He appeared at Grimsby Magistrate Court today and was remanded in

Scunthorpe: Appeal for witnesses as motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries

We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a motorbike and a parked van on Hebden Road in Scunthorpe at 5.30pm yesterday (Friday 8 June).

A 32 year-old Scunthorpe man suffered fatal injuries when the bike he was riding, a Kawasaki ZR 750 collided with a parked Ford Transit van.  The man sadly died at the scene.

Suspects won't get away by climbing on a roof

Ganstead: Teenagers arrested

Two 15-year-old girls have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a disused farmhouse in Ganstead.

The fire service and ambulance crews along with our officers attended the blaze on Low Farm Road around 7.30pm on 7 June 2018.

No-one was hurt in the fire but the building was badly damaged.

Grimsby: The men have now come down from the roof

The incident on South Parade, Grimsby has now come to an end. 

The two men have come down from the roof safely and have been arrested, both remain in our custody at this time.

Winterton: Witness appeal

A 64-year-old man has sadly died this morning following a road traffic collision in Winterton.

It happened around 7.30am on Market Street. The man was parking a white Peugeot Partner van when the vehicle mounted the kerb and collided with the front wall of shop.

Grimsby: Two people arrested

A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of arson following an incident on Frederick Street in Grimsby.

We were called by the fire service to a house around 10.30pm on 3 June 2018. A garage door at the property had been set alight causing minimal damage.

No-one was hurt in the incident.

Grimsby: Please avoid the area

Emergency crews have been attending a road traffic collision near Scartho Top in Grimsby in which a car has turned over onto its roof.

We were called around 4pm to reports that a Vauxhall Corsa had flipped over near to the hospital.

Immingham: Warrant executed today

Officers have executed a drugs warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act this morning at a property in Immingham.

In response to information given to us from the local community, officers from our proactive team from Grimsby West attended the house in the early hours of today.
