Driffield: Did you witness anything?

A 54-year-old man had sadly died while out riding his bicycle in Kilnwick near Driffield. 

The man was riding along Bracken Lane around 2pm on 25 June 2018 when he fell off his bike after suffering what’s thought to be a medical episode. No other vehicles were involved.

Grimsby: Airon Taylor safe and well

Fifteen-year-old Airon Taylor from Grimsby has been found safe and well and is back with his family.

Thank you again for your support in sharing our appeal to find Airon. We cannot emphasise enough how important information is that we receive from the public when we're looking for people who have been reported as missing.

Investigation launched

We have received reports from a number of schools across East Yorkshire this morning that they have received a malicious communication.

This is being treated as a hoax and we’re working with national agencies and other forces to investigate who has sent the message.

If your school has received a similar message, please report it by calling 101.

Hull: Latest results from our ongoing work in city centre

So far since the start of Op Ignition – the ongoing operation to crack down on antisocial behaviour and criminal behaviour in Hull City Centre – we have made 63 arrests, issued 114 dispersal orders, and carried out 66 searches.

We have collected and have been given lots of useful intelligence and information and issued 3 on the spot fines for public order offences.

Grimsby: Man arrested in connection with assaults

Six police officers were assaulted last night in the line of duty while dealing with an incident in Grimsby.

Traffic officers had been in pursuit of a driver around 5pm on 21 June 2018 who had failed to stop. The incident resulted in a minor road traffic accident on Burwell Drive.

Hull: Second man charged tonight

A second man has been charged this evening with the murder of 52-year-old Rolandas POSKUS in Hull. 

Stanislovas BOZYS, 28, of Gordon Street in Hull is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Grimsby: Did you see anything that would help with our enquiries?

We are currently in attendance and have scene guards in place at Wellington Street and Weelsby Street in Grimsby.

We received a call shortly after midnight to a disturbance at an address on Wellington Street.  A man has suffered minor injuries and has been arrested in connection with the incident.  He remains in custody.

Hull: Another way that we’re continuing to tackle ASB

Officers have been tackling groups of disruptive and intimidating youths in the Kingswood area of Hull by the use of dispersal orders.

We received complaints that youths had been hanging around Asda on Kingswood Retail Park and were causing problems for members of the public. They’d also been abusive to members of staff at the supermarket when they were asked to move on.

Scunthorpe: Appeal for witnesses

A man has been arrested on suspicion of affray following an altercation on the High Street, Scunthorpe yesterday on 19 June 2018. 

A number of people are believed to have witnessed the incident around midday which allegedly involved a member of the public and security guards.

Grimsby: Pair involved in two incidents on the same night

We want to find two men on suspicion of two separate incidents of robbery and assault in Grimsby.

Both happened in the early hours of 14 June 2018. The pair allegedly threatened their victims with a hammer but didn’t use it.

The first happened around 12.30am on Eleanor Street where a teenager was threatened and money and a bicycle were stolen.

A police special case misconduct hearing has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 20 June commencing at 1000 hours.

The proceedings will take place at Goole Police Station, Estcourt Terrace, Goole, DN14 5AF.

The officer concerned is PC 2081 James Ross.
