Hull: Do you know Lawrence Cope?

Can you help us trace the next of kin of 87-year-old Lawrence Cope?

Sadly Lawrence was found dead at his home on Arundel Close in Hull on Wednesday 21 March. 

His death is not being treated as suspicious however attempts to find his next of kin have been unsuccessful.

Hull: Man charged

A man has been charged following an incident at Jubilee Central Church on King Edward Street in Hull overnight between 16 and 17 March 2018.

Keith Burns, 19, of no fixed abode has been charged with burglary and was due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court today 22 March.

ACC Chris Noble responds to today's report

Humberside Police today responded to the annual HMIC Effectiveness inspection.  Assistant Chief Constable, Chris Noble said: "We are pleased that HMIC has recognised that we are ‘good’ in very important areas, such as preventing crime, tackling anti-social behaviour, investigating serious and complex crimes, and understanding the communities we serve.’

A woman was the victim of a robbery on 17 March on Holderness Road in Hull.  A 34 year-old man, Kai Donkin of Barnsley Street in Hull  has been charged with the offence.

Emails sent to schools and colleges across UK

We would like to reassure parents after a number of schools across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire received fake bomb threats this morning.

Nationally, more than 400 schools and colleges have received emails claiming a device has been planted and demanding cash.

Locally, 19 schools have been in touch to say they have been sent the email.

Hull: Paul Johnson due before court today

Paul Johnson, 38, of 17th Avenue, Hull, has been charged with Section 18 wounding and possession of a knife in a public place, following an incident in Orchard Park on Saturday, March 17.

He is due to appear before Hull Magistrates Court this morning.

Scunthorpe: Please read our advice

Following two tragic deaths and two overdoses that occurred recently in Scunthorpe, we are issuing a reminder about the dangers of drugs and where to get advice on addiction.

The two individuals who were admitted to hospital had taken what seems to be either a particularly strong batch or impure mix of heroin.

Hull: 23-year-old charged

A man has been charged following an incident at a petrol station on Robson Way in Hull on Sunday 11 March 2018.

James Fox, 23, of Fulmar Close, Hull has been charged with Section 16A possession of a firearm or imitation with intent to cause fear of violence.

He appeared at Hull Magistrates Court this morning 14 March 2018 and remanded into custody.

Grimsby: Joshua Murray due in court today

Joshua Murray, 20, of no fixed abode is due before Grimsby Magistrates Court today, in connection with an incident in Grimsby’s Corporation Road, on Monday, March 12.

He is charged with two counts of section 18 wounding, aggravated burglary, a firearms offence, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage in relation to the injuries suffered by PD Logan.

It's been confirmed that David Crowley, 41, who went missing yesterday in Scunthorpe has turned up safe.

Scunthorpe General Hospital staff said David returned there yesterday after our appeal went out.
