Snaith: Incident now over

An incident involving an unidentified ordnance device found at a property on High Street, Snaith has now been resolved.

The EOD attended along with officers, the device was removed and a controlled explosion was carried out at another location.

The road has been re-opened after being closed earlier for public safety. Thank you for your patience while we dealt with this.

West Hull: Man arrested

Four kilogrammes of amphetamines worth an approximate 40 thousand pounds has been seized in West Hull today.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug. He’s currently in custody.

The man has also been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life, possession of an offensive weapon and robbery.

Grimsby: If you see William please call us

39 year-old William O’Boyle was reported missing on 4 May 2018.  He was last seen on Freeman Street in Grimsby.  William is described as White, 5’ 11” tall of slim build with dark brown hair.

William has not been in contact with his family and friends since he went missing and we are concerned for his safety.

The cameras will be issued to officers and staff across the force

State-of-the-art body worn video cameras are being issued to officers across the force as part of our commitment to supporting victims, securing convictions and reducing crime.

The phased roll out is already underway and over the next year we will be training almost 1,700 officers, PCSOs and staff.

North Hull: Charges, arrests, drugs and cash seized on one day

Large quantities of drugs and more than a £1000 in cash have been seized by our Proactive Team officers working in North Hull on Thursday 17 May.

A man was arrested at one property on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply. Between 60 and 70 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine and the money were seized at the same address.

Hull: 82-year-old targeted

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of stealing money from an 82-year-old woman at a cashpoint in Hull.

The incident happened at an ATM at Sainsbury’s supermarket on Princes Avenue around 11am yesterday 22 May 2018.

The victim had withdrawn an amount of money when the suspect allegedly grabbed her wrist and took it from her as well as a bank card.

A police misconduct hearing has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 May 2018 commencing at 1000 hours.

The officer is PC 2560 Mark BAIRD.

The allegation is that conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.  The allegation is as follows:-

Cleethorpes: We want to speak to him in connection with a serious assault

A man suffered potentially life changing facial injuries after being assaulted in a Cleethorpes bar – and we would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or can Id this man from the image below.

The incident happened at some point prior to 4am​ on Sunday, May 20, in the Alexandra Road venue, when the 46-year-old victim was assaulted as he waited at the bar.

First anniversary of Manchester bombing

Wherever practicable, our teams will be observing the national minute's silence in memory of those killed and injured in the Manchester bombing at 2.30pm today.
