Woman Robbed in Street

Bridlington: Handbag snatched from woman on the Promenade.

Officers have launched an appeal for witnesses after a woman was robbed of her handbag as she walked along the Promenade at around 9pm on Monday April 20.

A 48-year-old woman was walking with her partner who was in a wheelchair when a man on a pedal bike grabbed her bag from her shoulder. The beige bag contained a purse, cash and a bunch of keys with a distinctive fob showing an angel and wolf.  The woman, although upset was unharmed.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and for help in identifying two men who were riding pedal cycles in the direction of the town centre at the time of the incident.
