Van stopped by roads policing officers as part of drugs investigation

A teenager and a man have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after the van they were in was stopped in East Yorkshire.

Following intelligence gathered by officers in relation to suspected drugs activity in Hull, roads policing officers followed and stopped a Transit van on the A63 near Hessle around 11pm last night Thursday 9 January.

A quantity of cash was found in the van.

A 17-year-old man from Bradford has been arrested on suspicion of supplying a class A drug. A 45-year-old man from Hull was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and drug driving.

They are both still in custody.
