We want to find two men in connection with two assaults and robberies on the same morning in Grimsby.

The incidents occurred around 6.30am on 18 November 2017.

One victim was allegedly assaulted and threatened with a bottle by the men at the junction with Hainton Avenue and Patrick Street. He had an amount of money stolen from him.

The other victim was on his bike when the men approached him further along Hainton Avenue. Again he was allegedly assaulted, threatened with a bottle, and had his bike stolen.

The suspects made off towards Margaret Street.

Both men have been described as white. One was of a "chubby" build, 5 feet 9, with short brown hair and wearing a grey jogging suit.

The other was thin, 5 feet 7, wearing a black hooded top and black trousers. He also had dark hair.

Detective Constable Nigel Morgan from Grimsby Communities Investigation team said: "These were unprovoked crimes involving two early morning assaults and robbery of men who were unknown to the suspects. I am concerned with the potential threat of violence used and am very keen to find these two individuals.

"If anyone does have any information, I urge them to call 101 quoting logs 112 or 117 of 18/11/17. Or if you have something to report anonymously then please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
