Two arrested following assault

Two men were arrested in connection with an assault in Ashby High Street on Friday, December 18.
The victims were walking along the street, close to Baden Powell and Sons Ltd, at around 11.40pm when they were approached by two unknown men, who are said to have assaulted them.
One of the victims, a 58-year-old man, was taken to hospital after falling unconscious. He was discharged a short time later. The other victims, suffered minor injuries.
The first suspect was described as 5ft 7in tall, in his 30s and wearing a blue puffa jacket and jeans.
The second was around 6ft tall, 25-years-old and of skinny build. He wore a black leather jacket and dark jeans.
A 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from the Scunthorpe area, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail to a date next month.
