Hull

5 Aug 2021

Three men are in custody following a robbery on Anson Road, Hull at 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 4 August) and a nearby burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

The victim of the robbery was threatened and had a bank card and keys stolen from him.

Thankfully the victim was not harmed in the incident but his home was then broken into and his car stolen.

Officers were immediately deployed and a vehicle matching the description was located and stopped using a stinger in Skirlaugh.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.  One of the men has also been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and failing to provide a breath test.

All three remain in custody as we continue our enquiries.
