Humberside Police’s Lifestyle project -which has inspired over 160,000 young people to make a difference in their community since 1989 - launched at Princes Quay on Saturday 7 May and teams are now being urged to register at www.humberside.police.uk/lifestyle.
Lifestyle is a scheme organised and run by Humberside Police that encourages thousands of 10-18 year olds to register as groups and undertake projects that benefit their local area, with the most innovative and successful rewarded with a host of prizes.
Up for grabs this year are: An Adventure Experience to South Africa, a Trip to France including MGM Studios and Disneyland Paris, Adventure Holiday to Wales, day trips to Flamingo Land, Go Ape, Track Days and more.

The force also officially unveiled the new lifestyle t-shirts modelled by the Volunteer Youth Ambassadors.
The Lifestyle project aims to increase the amount of positive contact between Humberside Police and young people, offering a refreshing and challenging alternative to summer boredom, which will benefit the youngsters and their communities.
The young people involved work together developing essential life-skills, gain in confidence and self-esteem, whilst making a difference in their neighbourhood with a host of amazing projects.

The first 2,000 young people to register will receive a free Lifestyle 2016 t-shirts and each team will receive a project pack containing all of the information needed for a successful summer.
