Grimsby: Boy arrested following rooftop incident

A 13 year-old boy has been arrested following an incident on Convamore Road in Grimsby.

We had been in attendance since 2.15pm today, because a youth was reported to be in the street with a knife. On our arrival he took to the roof of a nearby property.

We can now confirm that he has come down from the roof and has been arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage.

​Yesterday evening we arrested a 33 year-old woman in connection with the death of Shaun Lyall on Sidney Street in Cleethorpes.  She is in custody and will be questioned by detectives investigating Shaun's death.

A1079: Average speed cameras catch same driver speeding dozens of times over months

41 year-old Jaroslaw Mista of Anlaby Road in Hull appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Wednesday 11 July.  Facing nearly 20 charges for speeding offences on the A1079.
 
Jaroslaw Mista had been detected on the average speed cameras which were installed along the A1079 on 2016.  He was recorded speeding number of times at similar times over a period of months.

Cleethorpes: The man who's body was found yesterday on Sidney Street is named as Sean Lyall, also known as Sean Ireland.

Sean's body was found yesterday evening and we launched a murder investigation.  Investigators and forensic officers have been carrying out their work throughout the day and making house to house enquiries locally.

A scene guard will likely be in place for the next few days, any local residents that are feeling concerned please do not hesitate to speak to one of our officers.

Hull: Wanted for breach of bail

We want to find 31-year-old Mahfuzur Tarafdar from Hull for a breach of his bail conditions. 
He was bailed from court to an address in Sheffield last week but now cannot be traced. It is believed he now may be in the Hull area against the terms of his bail.

Hull: Appeal for help to recover stolen property

A Takeuchi red and grey mini digger was stolen in a from a construction site on Partington Drive in Hull on 2 July.  The digger carried ‘Yorkshire Plant' logo.  It was loaded into a white van, with what are believed to be false plates, and taken from the site.

Scunthorpe: Jamaine Parker sentenced in court

Jamaine Parker (22) of no fixed abode appeared in court on 6 July and was sentenced to 12 years in prison for deliberately setting a fire in a storage room of the Royal Hotel in Scunthorpe in early hours of 27 February 2018.

Bridlington: Have you seen Isaac Thorne?

We are appealing for help to locate Bridlington man Isaac THORNE who is wanted  on prison recall after breaching the terms of his licence.  

Enquiries to locate the 20 year old have proved unsuccessful and we are now urging him to hand himself into police.
