Man charged with assault, theft and criminal damage

An 18-year-old man has been charged with two counts of assault, two counts of shop theft and criminal damage following a number of reports across Grimsby in December and January.

Ashley Farrar of Pinewood Crescent has been bailed to appear in Grimsby Magistrates Court on Tuesday 9 March.

It was reported that a woman had been assaulted twice by a man last month, that in a separate incident a woman’s Audi had been damaged and in two separate instances over the last two months, food had been stolen from a local shop.

He also asked for seven further offences to be taken into consideration by the court.
