Detective Superintendent Vanessa Smith said: “Financial Reporting Orders can be issued for a variety of listed offences, including a number of economic crimes, which can seem on the face of it to be victimless, but we know that the reality is very different.

“These crimes can reach far and wide across a community and we want to reassure the people we serve that we will take it seriously and we will always pursue anyone who chooses to engage in this kind of activity.

”We have worked on this with the National Crime Agency and the Regional Organised Crime Team and will continue to do so to make communities safer.”
