Cleethorpes: Man injured in assault at junction

Police are investigating an assault which took place just after 7pm on May 22 on the corner of George Street and Richmond Road in Cleethorpes.

A 23-year-old man suffered superficial cuts to his chest in the incident from a bladed instrument used by the suspect who grabbed the victim from behind.

The victim defended himself and the suspect left the scene on a pedal cycle.

Police are looking to identify the suspect who is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, between 35 to 45 years of age, of heavy build with scruffy grey hair. He was wearing Fila, black tracksuit bottoms and a red and blue hooded top. He was also wearing orange gloves and was riding a blue bicycle.
