Man arrested in connection with burglary
A 35-year-old Hull man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary following an incident in Suffolk Street yesterday.
We were called at shortly before 5pm on Tuesday, 12 January, following reports a two men had knocked on the door of the property and burst in when the door was answered.
The men fled after stealing a mobile phone and one of the occupants was left with an injury to his leg.
At this time, it is believed the offenders are known to the victims and that this was a targeted attack, with no risk to the wider public.
The 35-year-old man remains in our custody and has been further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply temazapam.
