We're reissuing security advice to residents in Scunthorpe about burglaries committed by criminals dressed as bogus officials.

Elderly people and vulnerable individuals are often the main targets of such criminals. 

People dressed as officials try and con their way in to people's houses, then distract them while stealing money and valuables.

We are asking for help in tracing a man from Hutton Cranswick near Driffield who was reported missing on Friday 15 September. 

37 year-old Raymond Clarkson was last seen wearing a black hooded top with the words "Game Over" written on it, blue jeans, a grey woolly hat, and grey Puma trainers.

Grimsby: Appeal for witnesses

We are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision shortly after 7pm on Saturday 16 September on Tetney Road, Humberston, Grimsby. 

The incident involved one car, a blue Volvo V40, which left the road before colliding with trees and bushes. 

One of the passengers, a 27-year-old man, has subsequently sadly died of his injuries.

Scunthorpe: Appeal to help us find missing Christian Thompson

44 year-old missing Christian Thompson from Scunthorpe was last seen on Saturday 9 September at 1pm.  Christian is around 6 feet tall of thin build and bald and was last seen wearing a baseball cap, grey hooded top with blue jeans and trainers.

We are concerned for Christian’s safety as he may be in need of medical attention.

A police misconduct hearing has been scheduled to take place on Monday 25th September 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

The officer is Detective Constable Julian McGill.

The allegations are that conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Confidentiality, Orders and Instructions and Duties and Responsibilities contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.  The allegations are as follows:

Beverley: Help us ID the woman shown in CCTV images in connection with a fraud at a bookmakers.

We are keen to identify this woman in connection an incident of fraud at the Chisholm bookmakers on Butcher Row.

A woman entered the bookmakers at around 5.45pm on 14 July 2017.  She asked the staff to change some money and is alleged to have defrauded them of around £70.

Goole: Re-appeal for witnesses

We are re-appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious road traffic accident near Goole. 

The incident, which involved a silver VW Passat car, occurred on the A614 Rawcliffe Road around 1am on 15 September 2017. 

The vehicle had hit a kerb and rolled over a number of times before coming to a stop on a grass verge.

We are trying to find the relatives of 67 year old Richard Kevin Styles who sadly died in his flat on Fairfield Road, Bridlington on 14 September 2017.

Richard, who was known as Kevin to his friends, had not been seen for a number of days. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Hull: We have arrested a man in connection with the assault of a 25 year old man in Queens Gardens

A 20 year-old man is in custody on suspicion of the assault of a 25 year-old Hull man who was assaulted in Queen Gardens in Hull at around 1am on Sunday morning.  He was found with head injuries and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment, he is now recovering at home.

Beverley: Help us ID the man shown in CCTV images in connection with two thefts.

We are keen to identify this man in connection with two thefts of alcohol from Asda on Norwood in Beverley. 

The first incident happened on Friday 14 July and the second on Friday 4 August.
