Two men have been arrested and charged after officers conducted warrants at addresses in Grimsby yesterday morning (Thursday, 8 May).
In a bid to tackle organised crime and as part of a pre-planned operation, officers from our Kinetic Intervention, Proactive, and local Neighbourhood police teams carried out four warrants in the Grimsby area.
Joseph Sergent, 32, of Curry Road, Grimsby and Luke Smith, 32, of Dunmow Street, Grimsby have both been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Smith has also been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Both have been remanded into custody and are due to appear in Grimsby Magistrates court this morning (Friday, 9 May).
Officers attended addresses on Curry Road, Dunmow Street, Ravenspurn Way and Wharfdale Way. After conducting searches of all four properties, officers recovered an amount of suspected class A drugs, mobile phones and cash.
