NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE
Assistant Chief Constable Thom McLoughlin said: “We are aware of speculation currently circulating on social media in connection with reports of a protest due to take place in Scunthorpe today.
“At this moment whilst we haven’t received any information to substantiate the reports of the protest taking place we will have officers in the area to provide reassurance and swiftly deal with any concerns or emerging issues in the area.
“I would urge anyone with any concerns to please speak to officers who will be able to assist.”
