Man located safe after BMW attacked in Hull disorder

We are aware of a video circulating online which shows groups targeting a man in a silver coloured BMW during the disorder in Hull yesterday, Saturday 3 August.

Specialist officers are in contact with the driver and passengers of the vehicle, who were left shaken but thankfully uninjured in the attack.

Investigations are underway to establish those involved in that particular incident and ensure that they are brought to justice.

We want to confirm that nobody was stabbed in this incident, contrary to reports circulating on social media.
