NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE
Officers investigating a road traffic collision on Abbey Road in Grimsby on Tuesday 21 January are appealing for the driver to come forward to assist with ongoing enquiries.
It is reported that between 5pm and 5.20pm, a red car collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian, an 18-year-old man, was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment after sustaining fractures to his face.
Whilst the driver initially stopped at the scene, no details were provided and so we are particularly keen for them to come forward and speak to us.
We are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time the collision occurred, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 147 of 21 January.
