East Riding

8 Oct 2018

A cyclist has been injured after allegedly being hit by a car which failed to stop in Bridlington.

The incident happened on 5 October 2018 on Brett Street around 10.30pm. The man on the bike had stopped at traffic lights near Quay Road when a small blue car collided with him from behind causing him to fall off.

The rider sustained bruising but was otherwise unhurt.

We are appealing for anyone who saw this car which performed a U-turn after the incident before driving off in the direction of the Gypsey Road.

There is no further description of the vehicle or the driver. Log 634 of 5/10/18 refers.
