Do you recognise the person captured in this CCTV footage?

It has been released today as part of our ongoing investigation into an arson attack at a home in Stanage Walk, Grimsby, on Friday, January 13.

We were called to the area by the fire service at around 10.55pm, after a wheelie bin was set alight and pushed against the front door of a ground floor flat.

The 67-year-old man living at the property was rescued by his neighbours and taken to Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital for treatment.

Sadly, he died five days later. A post mortem examination revealed there was no link to the fire.

Detective Chief Inspector Stewart Miller said: “We are very keen to identify the person on the video to establish if they were involved in the incident or saw anything that could assist us with our enquiries.”

A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and released on bail to a date next month, pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting crime reference number 2242442.
