Witnesses are being sought to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Cleethorpes.
The collision happened at around 4pm on Thursday, July 9, as a woman pushing a pedal cycle crossed Taylor’s Avenue, at the crossing point close to Hewitt’s Circus roundabout.
The car in the left hand lane had stopped to allow her to cross, but as she entered the right hand lane she was hit by a burnt orange 4 x 4 – possibly a Nissan Duke.
The male driver of car stopped to ask if the pedestrian was okay and, when she replied that she was, left the scene.
The pedestrian suffered cuts to the palm of her hand and bruising to her hip and thigh.
Anyone who saw the incident, or the driver of the car, are asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 396 of July 9.
