Officer are appealing for witnesses following three separate and unrelated assaults in Goole over the last week.

SUNDAY 23 OCTOBER – VICTORIA STREET GOOLE – CRIME REFERENCE NUMBER 2223886
An 18-year-old man was outside the Capitol Club on Victoria Street at around 4.30am when he was allegedly assaulted by another man resulting in facial injuries. 

The victim walked off and was alleged assaulted again a short time later in the Pedestrian Precinct by two men.

The victim needed hospital treatment to a broken cheek bone and a broken nose.

TUESDAY 25 OCTOBER – BOOTHFERRY ROAD, GOOLE – CRIME REFERENCE 2224101
A 39-year-old woman and a 38-year old man were allegedly having an argument close to a bus stop on Boothferry Road at around 11.15am on Tuesday 25 October, when the man allegedly struck the woman. No physical injuries were caused.

The 38-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and was released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The officer investigating the incident is keen to speak to any independent witnesses.

SATURDAY 29 OCTOBER - NORTH STREET, GOOLE – CRIME REFERENCE NUMBER 2225343
A 21-year-old man and a 18-year-old woman were walking home along North Street following a night out at some point between 1am and 3am on Saturday 29 October when two unknown men approached them and began being abusive. 

The men then allegedly assaulted the couple leaving them with cuts and bruises, but not needing medical treatment.

The suspects are described as white, aged in their mid 20’s. One of the men had a full beard and the other had long hair on the top of his head and shaved all-round the sides with a bun on the top.
