Break-in at Laceby pub

Grimsby: Can you help trace men responsible?

26 Oct 2015

Officers are appealing for information after two men broke into a Laceby pub in the early hours of this morning.

The landlord was alerted to the break-in at around 2.30am today (Monday, October 26) and came down into the pub to find two men, wearing balaclavas.

One ran off, but the landlord grappled with the second man – who is said to have had a knife - managing to pull up his balaclava. However, he also escaped.

The first is described as being in his 20s, wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up. He was around 6ft tall.

The second was white, with light coloured hair and was around 5ft 8" tall. He wore a grey hoodie with the hood up.

Despite extensive searches of the area, officers have not located those responsible for the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting log 37 of October 26.
