Boy charged with attempted murder on Woodbine Close
Following our earlier appeal after a serious assault on Woodbine Close in Hull at 6.30pm on Tuesday 21 September, we can confirm that a 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife in a public place.
He is due to appear in Hull Magistrates Court today, Thursday 23 September.
Two other people arrested in connection with the assault have been released on police bail with conditions and one person was released under investigation whilst we continue our investigation.
The injured boy is recovering well.
Officers have been continuing their highly visible presence in the area and working with community leaders to provide reassurance. We would continue to encourage anyone with concerns to speak with officers.
Our appeal for witnesses or any information that could assist our investigation remains active, and people are asked to call 101 quoting log 461 of 21 September. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
