Easington: Were you in the area?

27 Mar 2017

We are making a fresh appeal for information about a potential arson attack on a fishing compound on Seaside Road, Easington.

On the evening of Saturday 25 February a fire broke out in the compound between 7.30pm and 8.30pm causing around £200, 000 of damage.

We are particularly keen to hear from the occupants of a small hatchback car which was seen outside the compound.

We would also like to identify a jogger that was seen running past the site around the same time. This person is described as wearing a black top with reflective stripes, a black beanie hat and a head torch.

If you remember being in the area or can help with any information, please call 101 quoting crime reference number 2252879.
