We are currently recruiting to Neighbourhood Policing Constables within Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe.
This is an exciting opportunity to transfer and join the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).
You will work as part of a dynamic team overseeing, coordinating and leading front line targeted neighbourhood policing, problem solving and engagement.
Neighbourhood policing is changing at an ever growing pace - in line with the College of Policing National Neighbourhood Policing Guidelines, with our activities now regularly involving;
- Ongoing intelligence development and proactive action around Organised Crime Groups (OCG).
- Targeted disruption and support around the Criminal and Sexual Exploitation (CSE) of children and other community based vulnerability.
- Collaborative problem solving activity, focused around the needs and concerns of local communities – often taking into account hidden demands and scored vulnerability.
As a police constable within a Neighbourhood Policing Team, you will be a focal named leader in your community.
This involves managing professional relationships with the community, elected officials, businesses, and a range of partner agencies.
