Freedom of Information Request with Reference to The constabulary’s Perceived Application of the NPCC Security Systems Policy.
With reference to the above Policy, I ask the following questions regarding the
training of your new communications centre staff namely those who receive calls and/or deploy a police resource to incidents. This includes the supervisors of such staff and the senior officer in charge of the comms centre:

I can confirm that we follow guidelines set by the NPCC, with warning letters sent to alarm companies to remind them that their URN will be deactivated should they breach the terms and conditions of having a URN and exceeding the allowable false activations.
Q2 & Q3)
Documentation on NPCC Policy – 2.6.3 page 4-5.
Q4)
No information held. However, I can confirm that the hazards listed on the Appendix G form are set up with the URN to automatically stamp on the log once created, so there is awareness of all hazards prior to attendance to ensure there is an appropriate risk assessment in place when officers are deployed.
