I would like to make the following request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The Freedom of Information Act requires that this request is dealt with in a manner that is motive and applicant blind. A disclosure under this legislation is considered a disclosure to the world and is considered to be on the basis that it is in the public interest.
This response is unique to Humberside Police, and you are advised not to compare this like for like with any other force’s response you receive.
Following liaison with the Central Ticket Office, the following information can be disclosed:
How many sites you have where there are fixed position speed cameras for the detection of speeding motorists as of 1 September 2023 (or as recently as available data exists)?
As of 01/09/2023, there are two permanent fixed position camera site routes and one temporary (roadworks) fixed position camera site in operation in Humberside. All three sites operate average speed camera systems.
How many notices of intended prosecution were issued in relation to these cameras in financial year 2022/23?
The number of a) fixed penalty notices issued and b) speed awareness courses carried out as a result of the operation of these fixed position cameras?

Which fixed position camera site was responsible for issuing the most notices of intended prosecution in financial year 2022/23. Please state the position of the camera and number of notices issued.
M62 Ouse Bridge roadworks average speed camera scheme - 2,629 notices issued.
