Please would it be possible to acquire the following specifics;

• Total Number Stolen To Date
• Number Stolen Each Year (10 years worth, if possible?)
• The Location Where The Cable Was Stolen (City/Town/Village etc.)

The Freedom of Information Act requires that this request is dealt with in a manner that is motive and applicant blind. A disclosure under this legislation is considered a disclosure to the world and is considered to be on the basis that it is in the public interest.

Please note that we are only able to provide data from 2017 onwards as this is as far back as the data goes that we hold.

Systems were searched by using crime type ‘Theft’ and then a number of keyword searches applied: 'charging cable', 'electric car', 'electric cable', 'ev charging', 'ev cable', 'electric vehicle', 'charge cable', 'charging'
