Even without this label there is a huge cultural scene in the city with music and arts festivals happening throughout the year, every year. Across the region there are so many festivals ranging from food and rink to the arts and music. The music scene in Hull is the most varied you will find. No matter where you live in the force area you are never far from the sea, the resorts of Bridlington and Cleethorpes are the main resorts for attractions and traditional seaside fun. Cleethorpes’ Victorian Pier has recently undergone major renovations and was voted Pier of the Year 2016. If you want open sands and a quiet walk with the dog then any of the beaches of Barmston, Mappleton and Skipsea are easily accessible.
If you come with your family to the area then continued work considerations for your family are important aspects too.
