Welcome to the Scunthorpe Urban Neighbourhood Policing Area

About Scunthorpe Urban

Welcome to the Scunthorpe Urban Neighbourhood Policing Team, which covers the four wards of Brumby, Crosby and Park, Frodingham and Town.

This policing area includes the Scunthorpe Town Centre, the culturally diverse area of Frodingham Road, the key infrastructure of our Frodingham industrial estates and Steel Works, along with the Westcliff and Ridings Estate to the west.

Each ward has a designated Neighbourhood Beat Officer who, under the supervision of a ward Sergeant, coordinates a range of policing activities in that community. Our Neighbourhood Beat Officers are supported by a well-established and experienced team of Police Community Support Officers along with an ever developing network of partners and volunteers across our local area.

My colleagues and I recognise the pride many of our local residents, businesses and visitors have in our Scunthorpe communities, and we're very much a part of that.

As your Neighbourhood Policing Team we are proud to be engaging with our local communities and listening to their concerns, whilst being aware of emerging challenges around crime and antisocial behaviour.

As a team we are absolutely committed to listening, and working hard with colleagues from a range of other public services and agencies to deliver targeted activities to make our communities safer, stronger and more resilient.
