Welcome to the Hull East Neighbourhood Policing Area

About Hull East

Welcome to the Hull East Neighbourhood Policing Team, which covers the wards of Drypool Holderness, Ings, Longhill & Bilton Grange, Marfleet and Southcoates.

We cover the majority of East Hull, which is a diverse area. It’s predominantly urban and includes large populated residential areas, numerous businesses and East Park which hosts numerous events.

The team is based at the Preston Road Police Station. We are a mix of dedicated and approachable Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers. We work closely with our communities and other agencies to understand and address the issues that matter to you. We’re here to listen to you, so if you see us out and about come and say hello and tell us what’s affecting you most.

Update From Inspector Alisha Dixon

As your neighbourhood policing team we are proud to be engaging with our communities and listening to your concerns.

We are committed to keeping people safe, protecting vulnerable people and preventing crime. We regularly work with our partner agencies in order to achieve this and to find long term solutions for problems you are experiencing within your community.

Please always feel like you can come and talk to us. To be truly effective, we need the cooperation and trust of the public to help make a difference. We need the public to come forward and let us know about issues affecting them and our communities.

We have a fantastic team at Hull East that works tirelessly to keep people safe and help solve issues within the communities and they are only too happy to speak with you. So if you see us out on patrol, please feel free to come and say ‘hello’.

One of the best parts of neighbourhood policing is the partnerships we form with residents and other agencies while we’re working to solve the issues that are harming our communities. Problem solving is not something the police can achieve alone. It takes a real team effort, not only from the police but across the community, including the public, to come together to help overcome these issues and make the area a safe place to live, work and visit.
